The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally registered their first win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 season after defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 10 wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 17, 2018.
RCB, who had lost their first three matches of the season, were put into bat first by SRH captain Kane Williamson.
AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali opened the batting for RCB and put on a 110-run partnership for the first wicket. De Villiers scored 68 runs off 44 balls, while Ali made 65 runs off 34 balls.
RCB never really looked back after the opening partnership and chased down the target of 176 runs with ease.
With this win, RCB moved to the seventh position in the IPL 2018 points table, while SRH remained at the fourth position.
