NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2023 (AP) - Tiffany Hayes, a two-time NCAA champion with UConn and 2017 WNBA All-Star, has officially announced her retirement from the league. The 11-year veteran made the announcement on Wednesday, ending a successful career marked by both individual and team accomplishments.
Hayes, who was born on September 20, 1989, is an American-Azerbaijani former professional basketball player. She last played for the Connecticut Sun. Hayes holds the distinction of being the seventh fastest player to achieve at least 4,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 750 assists, 300 steals, and 350 three-point field goals in the WNBA.
