Boston Bruins goaltender David Enmark will step away from the team indefinitely to be with his wife, Lisa, who is expecting their first child in the coming weeks.

The Bruins announced the news on Tuesday, saying that Enmark will be away from the team for an indeterminate amount of time.

Enmark, 29, has appeared in 11 games for the Bruins this season, posting a 5-4-1 record with a 3.01 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.

The Bruins have not yet named a replacement for Enmark, but they are expected to call up a goalie from their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins.

Enmark is the second Bruins player to step away from the team for family reasons this season. Forward Jake DeBrusk left the team in November to be with his wife, who was giving birth to their first child.
