No ATP Ranking Points Awarded for the Laver Cup

Participating, but Not Earning

The Laver Cup is an annual men's tennis tournament founded in 2017. It is not part of the ATP Tour. Points earned in ATP-sanctioned events count towards a player's ATP ranking. Points earned in exhibition matches, such as the Laver Cup, or team competitions, such as the Davis Cup, do not count towards a player's ATP ranking.

The Laver Cup is a team competition between Team Europe and Team World. The tournament is played over three days and features 12 players, six from each team. The winning team earns a trophy, but no ATP ranking points.

A Different Kind of Competition

The Laver Cup is designed to celebrate the sport of tennis and bring together some of the best players in the world. It is not part of the ATP Tour and does not count towards a player's ATP ranking. However, the tournament does offer a different kind of competition for players, and it has quickly become a popular event on the tennis calendar.
